11. How are Kennewick and Richland going to handle environmental issues?
An environmental evaluation will be completed as part of this planning process. The Cities want to hear from you regarding issues and concerns you may have. Your input will be incorporated into the environmental review. A complete environmental evaluation will be made available for public comment during the planning process. The Steptoe Street Extension right-of-way has been the subject of a previous environmental study, including the May 1995 preferred route alignment study. Other environmental documents have been prepared in the project vicinity and will be available on the project website (www.steptoestreet.com) for your review.
