13. Where would the funds for construction come from?
The Cities are exploring funding opportunities from a variety of sources, including Federal, State, and Local agencies. Federal and State funding sources may include the Federal Highway Administration, Transportation Improvement Board, and Washington State Department of Transportation. Local funding partners may include Ben Franklin Transit, Benton Public Utility District, Kennewick Irrigation District, the Cities of Kennewick and Richland, and local developers.
