37. What landscaping will be included on the Steptoe Street Extension?
The Cities welcome input from Citizens as to the type of landscaping shrubs and trees to be used. The use of trees in certain areas may be restricted to avoid interference with residential views, potential interference with overhead utility lines, or for maintenance reasons. Types of shrubs may also be restricted in certain areas to maintain security and safety of the roadway, pedestrian sidewalks, or adjacent residential property. A conceptual landscaping plan will be developed during the preparation of the 30% design of the roadway for public review.
