The 30% Design is subject to adjustments as the design proceeds, and as additional information is obtained regarding the project by the City of Kennewick and City of Richland.

- The Neighborhood Meetings of May 17 and May 18, 2006 were conducted with an open house format. Information was displayed at 5 Stations including Noise, Lighting, Right-of-Way/Traffic, Environmental, and Potential Designs. - The City of Kennewick and City of Richland presented several design options for the cross-section of the Steptoe Street Extension at the May 17 and May 18, 2006 Neighborhood Meetings. The Cities will be reviewing these cross-sections in the next several weeks to identify a preferred alternate cross-section for presentation to the public at the Public Meeting to be held in August 2006.

- The following attachments provide information regarding existing average weekday Traffic volumes (Traffic Volume-2005) on roadways throughout the City of Kennewick and the South Richland area; the forecasted weekday peak hour PM Traffic volumes in 2008 with the Steptoe Street Extension project (2008 traffic forecasts); the 2028 forecasted weekday peak hour PM Traffic volumes with the Steptoe Street Extension project, but without the Center Blvd Extension (2028 traffic forecasts wo center); and the 2028 forecasted weekday peak hour PM Traffic volumes with the Steptoe Street Extension project, and the Center Blvd Extension (2028 traffic forecasts).
